Wedding Crashers - Dresses & Romance

When it comes to fashion, I'm totally girly. Give me lace, florals, jewels, and more, and you have a very happy Taylor! This idea, of course, also includes dresses, which make me feel like a princess every time I wear one.

A dress is a very special garment because you can wear it in a number of ways and for a number of occasions. Mini or maxi, formal or informal, feminine and flirty or rough and tough--the possibilities are endless and versatile. For me, a dress alone contributes quite the glam factor to my look and mood and honestly makes me feel oddly powerful. If you have a dress or any other pieces of clothing that generates the same effect, you wear it and you own it!

We went the romantic route with a peanut-brown v-neck dress specked with flowers in cream and maroon and a maroon-colored sweater. Matching nude patent heels and a clutch, as well as gold accessories, add a touch of class and sophistication.

The most coincidental part about putting together this fancy blog post was the fact that we stumbled across a wedding at the photo shoot site! The funniest thing was that the outfit was so appropriate that a random guest said hello and a car-full of people followed us to the chapel. Point made--this outfit works :P

If you like this outfit and want to dress it down, simply swap the drop-down earrings with studs, the heels with sandals or flats, and the clutch with a cross-body bag or tote.

What are your favorite aspects about a dress? Apart from dresses, what other clothing pieces make you feel like a rock star? Tell us all about it by leaving a comment below!
