Searching For Pokémon & Hiking in Style

Taylor has a confession to make: thanks to Ashton’s probing over the years, she downloaded and has become downright obsessed with Pokémon Go! Because September’s Community Day highlighting Johto Pokémon Chikorita was today, Taylor and Ashton were on the hunt for missing creatures and were adamant on completing their search!

Today’s weather gave Chicagoland its first taste of fall (only 68 degrees compared to Thursday’s 91!). Because it got rather chilly, Taylor bundled up in a stylish cargo jacket with knit sleeves from Dry Goods, a basic grey t-shirt underneath, black Forever 21 skinny jeans, stone-colored Steve Madden “Munch” boots, and a classic black leather Kate Spade crossbody purse. The nice thing about crossbody bags—which we’re sure you already know and appreciate!—is the fact that it keeps your hands free when you’re out and about. This is especially important when you’re trying to throw Pokéballs around and pick up Pinap berries on your phone!

Good luck to those players still on their quest to capture Meganium, Mewtwo, Mew, Celebi, or whatever else you need to fill up your Pokédex! If y’all really want to be the very best—like no one ever was—you gotta catch ‘em all!
