Sending Off Summer In Purple Perfection

Good afternoon friends! With cooler temperatures and rainy days approaching next week, we are savoring the last days of true summer weather in style! Taylor and her fiancé Ashton spent their weekend brunching, shopping, and wandering around, and their local mall set the perfect scene for Taylor's purple dress!

A few months ago, we visited the Tampa Bay area and walked down St. Peterburg's downtown area after grabbing a bite to eat at The Hangar and checking out The Dalí Museum. Taylor and Sue happened to stumble across a cute store called SaltLight ART Boutique, where they found some of the nicest clothing, jewelry, and accessories they'd ever seen! Taylor ended up leaving with three dresses--the first in brown paisley, the second a lavender mini, and the third a fuchsia-purple maxi--while Sue walked out with two jars of amazing scented lotion. All of their products are very well-made and really fit any style.

This fuchsia-purple number is a cotton maxi-dress which is super comfortable, even in extremely warm weather. Taylor paired it with a Rebecca Minkoff crossbody bag in cognac leather, Sam Edelman's "Gigi" sandal in nude, gold-specked sunglasses by Betsey Johnson, and a fun owl necklace from Forever 21, creating a very effortless look. (*Random side-note: Taylor's favorite part about the dress is the fact that it has POCKETS, which is always a fun feature :P)
