Hi everyone! We hope you enjoyed all of our fabulous
interior fall decor photos from our last post. After finishing the inside of
our home, we took our skills to the great outdoors and decorated our porch as
well!
- The real pumpkins we picked up from Target have been spray painted with Rust-Oleum clear satin spray paint to keep the animals from eating them. Over the last few years, we tried using several other hacks such as Vicks VapoRub, Shellac, and vinegar to no avail. The Rust-Oleum paint ACTUALLY works, and we recommend you all to try it out!
- We decided not to take the hay barrel out of the plastic wrapping it came in, just to avoid the inevitable mess those bits of straw can make. From a distance, no one can even tell it’s still in plastic!
- There is still plenty of time to decorate for fall and Thanksgiving. Most stores are now already preparing for the holiday season, and their autumn merchandise may be priced at decent discounts. Take advantage of those deals while you can!
